This is why I love Melbourne!!!

Based on popular demand (syok sendiri ^_^), I'll blog about my fun weekend! HAHA!!! (last weekend)

Went shopping with vicky, amanda and ning after uni. I found a new favourite shop! All along the shop was there but I never bother to enter it. It's called Priceline. They have super cheap perfumes there!! I was tempted to buy one but because I'd spent too much for that day already. Ning bought one though. A paris hilton perfume gift set for AUS 38. It comes with a 100ml perfume, body shampoo, lotion and a miniture perfume for purses. CHEAP RITE? The scent was not too bad. Perhaps next time they'll have something much nicer. Tahan!!



Close to midnight...

We went clubbing!! My first time clubbing. And it was the best thing ever! Joanne (Jin Sern's cousin) was having her birthday at Club 7. We don't really know her that well, but since everyone was going we just follow. Plus it'll be more fun if there is more of your friends there. One thing about clubbing in Melbourne is that it is SMOKE-FREE!! Yup, they ban smoking in clubs. So, the air is fresh and clean in the club. Make dancing more easier.

Club 7 is really fun! They hav 3 rooms ; RnB, Retro and House/Trance. Basically we were moving between RnB and Retro. RnB kept on playing the same song again and again. The funny thing was whenever we were on the dance floor, dono what crappy song comes out. But then when we go back to our table, suddenly nice song comes out. We got fed up of moving in n out the dance floor that we just dance at our table. HAHA!!!

Retro was the better room. They played old school music from Grease to Whitney Houston. We get to dance and sing at the same time. Old school music is more fun then all the new top charts song. Surprisingly, The Way I Are came out in the retro room. This song is not tat famous in Aussie. In Malaysia, I hear it 24/7 on the radio.

Yup it is just 4 hours aways from clubbing......we went SKIING!!

Crazy man we all.....only get to sleep for about 2 hours cos we gotta get up by 6am to get ready.

It is finally here.....

On my previous post I mention that i went back to Malaysia. Well, now I'm back in Melbourne. So fast time past. Didn't really blog much because firstly there is nothing interesting that happen and secondly even if there is, I'm too lazy to blog about it.

I come back here alone. 'Fong'ed by my going-back-to-Malaysia buddy. Well, I don't blame him. I guess Malaysia just love him so much that 'it' didn't want him to go back to Australia. HAHA!! Hope you get well soon!

Coming back here I thought it'll be as fun as before I left from Melbourne. Unfortunately, it isn't. 2 of my friends started work so they are busy. 1 fell sick and stuck in Malaysia. another also fell sick and isn't so hyper. Well, that leaves me alone. Make me feel more homesick when I'm alone. Couldn't help thinking of my family back home. Especially since I just came back from there. Plus I'm sort of use to eating big portion when I'm back in Malaysia cos of the good food. Now, I'm back to bread and soup. I got gastric almost everyday. (sure will kena marah if mom reads this which i know she does...hehe).

Luckily the new harry potter book kept me busy for the weekend. I finished the book in 2 days. I'm proud of myself. Although i know sure there are some who finished it in 1 day.

I'm sort of glad that uni has started. I did dread it at first. But on second thought it'll keep me busy and not think of home too much. Plus I think i'll be joining the Melbourne Uni gym in Aug. So, i'll be able to keep fit, socialize and hav fun! Hopefully....

Back home

It's been about a week since I got back home. I'm lying if I say that it's soooo fun here! Well, I'm happy that I'm back here with all my family and friends. But the excitement is not as fun as back in Melbourne. Back there we get to do spontaneous and fun things EVERYDAY. Plus everyone is having holiday there, so everyone is free to do anything. But here, most of them are busy with studying. And maybe they would only be free on weekends. I've only got four weekends here. One has pass which makes 3 more to go.

So far I've only gone shopping and watch movies. I could even do that back in Melbourne. I've also been stuck at home watching series that I downloaded. There are so many pile up in my hard drive waiting for me to watch. Let see, 6 Hong Kong series, Prison break season 1 & 2, Grey's Anatomy 1,2&3, House, Numbers, and movies too. At this rate probably by the end of my stay here, I can finish all of it. Gee that's so fun!

Not to mention the weather here is hot and sticky. And I totally forgotten about one horrible thing before I came back here. My ultimate worst enemy, the mosquitoes. I think those mosquitoes miss my blood so much that ever since I come back, they non stop biting me.


Please save me from my boredom. I need fun and adventure! I don't want to waste my stay here. Please don't make me regretting coming back. I could have stay back there and find a job. Who don't want to earn bout 100aus a day?

One week

Just yesterday night i was thinking....OMG exactly last week i was busy studying for my last paper.....somehow my last one week of fun in melbourne before i head home seems longer than ever.

Over the whole week i mostly did shopping for friends and family. Almost 60% (or maybe even more) of my luggage, contained food. Lots and lots of food that you can't find in Malaysia. Not forgetting i'm gonna hand carry back 2 dozen of freshly baked krispy creame.

The best part of this one week was playing MAHJONG! yup mahjong! where did we get it? We got it from a shop that sells all kinds of board games and puzzles. Amanda bought the mahjong set while vicky bought herself a jigsaw puzzle. I must say, mahjong is the most infectious game ever! We played mahjong till 6.30am! No wonder the aunty and uncle can go on and on the whole night through.

Later tonight we're gonna watch fantastic four: the rise of the silver surfer. Hopefully it is good. Haven't watched the first one before.

Then, tommorow, 3pm, off the melbourne ground.

WHY???

Exams over!

Last minute is so not fun. Every year when we go through last minute studying and we'll tell ourselves to make sure we do early studying next time. But it NEVER happens! NEVER EVER HAPPENS!

Procrastinating is just in my blood.

Anyway, WHO CARES!? cos exams is all over!

The day has finally arrive!

After my last paper we all went shopping! Mostly for things i need to bring back to Malaysia. I must say....perfumes here is super duper cheap. Well maybe because I get to shop in the duty free shop since I'm flying back. Only people with proof of flying back home can buy things from that shop. Best shopping place for me! haha!!!

Went to crown casino after that. I got so high after simply slotting a one dollar coin into the slot machine. The moment i press the button, i got some sort of combination, and the winning value starting to increase! NO it wasn't a humongous value, it just went up to 3 dollars. I was expecting to lose that 1 dollar the moment i put it in. But instead i got 3 dollars instead. I got so high after that, that i went to another slot machine and try my luck. After losing one dollar i thought i should just stop. Then, i went back to the casino war table where amanda, benny and vicky was and told them wat happen. Benny ask me to try more. Feeling in the mood, i tried even more. GUESS WHAT? Lost all 3 dollars! HAHA!!!! I didn't mind though. Was expected it to happen anyway. Just do it for fun.

In addition to that 1 dollar, I also lost 20bucks in the casino wars i chipped in for amanda to play. I guess luck wasn't with us that day. I think casino war is SO NOT a very good game to play if you are unlucky. Syafiq was having his luck in playing blackjack. Didn't see how much he won though, he didnt let us follow him to the table. He's soooo lucky! haih.....i guess mayb he got skill too.. hahah!

When would it be?

For those who watched Truimph in the skies, you would notice this scence. Ignore the people there. Look at the background. If you remember, they were in Australia in this scene. The setting for this scence was in a garden with lots and lots beautiful flowers. I always wanted to go to somewhere like that. I heard Holland has a lot of gardens filled with flowers. But since I'm in Australia I thought why not find the one that is in Australia. Guess what? I found the place!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes there is one in Australia. Sadly, it is in Canberra :(





There is two garden actually. One is called Tuliptop Garden which is own and maintained by an Australian couple. This garden only open during Spring time. Well, that's true. What's the point of going there when the flower doesn't bloom?

Another one is called Floriade Australia. Floriade Australia is actually a flower festival held during Spring time also which is 15sept-10oct. But both is equally beautiful!

I think if possible, one spring I will go down to Canberra to visit this garden. It is amazingly beautiful. Since I'm already in Australia, there is no harm going to this places rite? Might as well I enjoy my time here while I can.

That's hot!

Went for my first lecture of the day, Mathematics......

Anyway, the lecture was just going as normal. We were learning about Complex Numbers. I bet some of you ex-Spec Maths students would remember it. For those who never learn before, this is what we learnt :

cos(teta) + i sin(teta) = cis(teta) , i = sqrt(-1)

But, now that statement is not suitable to use anymore. My lecturer says cis(teta) is for "sissy". Haha!! We don't use cis(teta) anymore. Now, we use the term "e^i(teta)" instead of cis(teta).

My lecturer kept on insisting that we erase the memory of cis(teta) and remember e^i(teta). He said that e^i(teta) is the most beautiful term in the history of maths.

Then, he suddenly said "In the words of Paris Hilton.........we can say........That's Hot."

WTH?! Sooooooo random!!

The whole lecture hall burst out laughing! And he actually said it the way she would say it.

That was by far the most funniest thing he ever said in the lectures....haha!

Went to watch spiderman three last saturday with 16 people. We took up the 2 last rows of seats. HAHA! Pictures ahead....

I think spiderman 3 is the best among the 3 spiderman movies. AND I love Harry Osborn! He is soooo not evil! It's just he's corrupted by his evil father!

Well, i didn't cry though cos i kinda expected him to die in the end also. haha!!

Shen Ri Kuai Le...

That's happy birthday in mandarin....hehe! learning mandarin from Amanda and Ning...

I know this post is long overdue. It's been about 3 weeks after my birthday and now only i'm blogging about it. No time la! Got assignment to pass up and everything.


Anyway, here's about my birthday,

Friday....the most hectic day of the week. Class from 9-4pm nonstop (except an hour break which also I used up for lab time). Everything seems normal for the whole day in uni. But at night we planned to go to Docklands for dinner.



We were all suppose to meet up at the tram stop at 7pm. But Amanda and vicky said to get ready by 6.30pm cos they wanna go to uni to withdraw money first. I did not suspect anything since I know they were running out on cash. Before leaving the apartment, vicky forgotten to take her trenchcoat and i reminded her. Then, we both went down to amanda's apartment. Well, i did suspect something, cos usually we'll just meet amanda downstairs in the lobby but then we had to go n fetch her from her place. But then when we got inside, there was nothing, no surprise.

Then on the way out to the lift, suddenly vicky said she forgotten to bring her wallet. I thought it was normal as she always forget to bring her things. So, we went back to our apartment to find it. I didn't mind goin back cos i was kinda hungry and need to grab some food. Amanda wanted to use the toilet while vicky and i was finding her wallet. I was busy eating my granula bar when i heard ppl singing birthday song outside the window. At that time, there were ppl barbequeing downstairs, so i thought it was them singing.


Then, amanda called me to the window and ask me to look. So, i went to the window and i saw ALL of my friends at the lawn with a cake & sparkles, singing a birthday song for me!!!! I was soooo shocked! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! Especially vicky and amanda for conning me! Vicky did not forget her wallet, she "sengaja" forget her walllet so that we'll come back to the apartment. And Amanda did not go toilet, she went in to call and signal them! HAHA!! Anyway, i totally did not suspect this at all. And to be honest, this is my 1st ever birthday surprise. I'm so happy that they did something for me. I'm going to remember this forever. THANKS everyone *vic.mandy.ning.benny.justin.jen.fiorn.syafiq.qinyao.kenjin.kimchew.chuah*!
